Who this covers

This policy describes what Parsemend collects and stores when you use the service or this site, and how to exercise your rights over that data. Parsemend is operated by MAVA Design EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria at Bukova polyana 112, Smolyan, Bulgaria, VAT BG204539189, which is the data controller. For questions or requests, mail privacy@parsemend.com or write to that address.

We store events, not code

Parsemend stores the error events your SDK sends: the exception type and value, the stack trace, breadcrumbs, tags, environment, release, and the contexts your SDK attaches. That data is yours, and it lives in a database table partitioned by day.

What your SDK sends is under your control. Event payloads can contain personal data if your application puts it there (a user id on an event, an email in a breadcrumb); scrub at the SDK level anything you do not want stored.

Parsemend does not read your repository. Two things can still put source code on our servers, and both are your choice: JavaScript source maps you upload to resolve stack frames, which may embed your bundled source, and a fix your coding agent posts back to an issue, described below.

Account data

Parsemend stores the name and email address you sign up with and your organisation and project configuration. It is used to operate your account and send the notifications you configure, and for nothing else. There is no advertising and no sale of data.

Your coding agent and the CLI

On the Developer plan your coding agent reads your repository on your machine. The Parsemend CLI fetches issue data for it and never uploads your repository. Its one outbound write is post_back, which your agent calls only after asking you: it stores the diff of your change (with a few lines of context around each change, and new files in full) and a summary alongside the issue.

Business features that need repository access, such as pull request review, use the Parsemend GitHub App on the repositories you choose, and are set up with you.

Retention and deletion

Events are retained for 90 days by default and then dropped with their partition. Deleting a project deletes its events. Closing your account deletes your account data and every project in it.

Model providers

Your coding agent's model is yours: what it sends to its provider is governed by your agreement with that provider, and Parsemend is not part of it.

Parsemend uses its own model provider, Anthropic, for features that run on its servers. Today that includes an automated analysis of new and regressed issues, which sends the issue's event data (the exception, stack trace and related context, not your repository), and, on Business, pull request review. Data sent to the provider is not used to train models.

Your rights

Mail privacy@parsemend.com to access, export, correct or delete the data Parsemend holds about you or your projects. Requests are answered by a person.

Cookies and analytics

The application sets the session cookies a login requires and nothing else, and runs no analytics. The marketing site uses Google Analytics and RoasProof attribution, loaded only with your consent where the law requires it; the Cookie Policy lists each cookie and how to change your choice.
